The Klefstad Conference Room has a large bank of windows and is a comfortable setting to accommodate up to 24 people for a business meeting or educational seminar.

About the Donor:
Harlan Klefstad graduated from NDSU in 1952 from the College of Business. He was born in Lake City, SD, and moved to Forman, ND, in 1936. Harlan and his wife, Lyla, made their home in Forman until her death in 1998. They raised three children: Steven Klefstad (wife Laurie), Wendy Kotchian (husband Raymond), and Janell McLaen (husband Steven). Harlan was active for 36 years as a county banker at the Sargent County Bank in Forman where he advanced from cashier to president. His major accomplishments include serving on the North Dakota State Banking Board for eight years, mayor in Forman for eight years, and serving in the Marine Corp. for three years. Harlan is a member of the Legion and the Lions Club, and he is a Masonic Lodge Shriner.
